It depends where you are working . I wish Ron Smith in Alaska would weigh in here. He should have some killer pics of snow work. I have seen some posted here years back from some of his men . Thats what stopped the Duck from wanting to go there . Ive worked in the snow in Ohio , Kansas and Pennslyvinia its not fun but its possible . If its bucketable get a construction umbrella and mount in in your basket . If your hooking get a long handle Eastwing hammer and chip the ice where your gaffs are hitting the pole while you highjack up it . Above all be careful. Snow can be worked in.
