I often thought that if CATV operations had been run as you describe the sat companies would not have had a shot at taking the business. Remembering that PrimeStar was developed by CATV companies as a fill in for off plant addresses, it was the lack of maintenance and the poor reliability of many large CATV operations that led to a customer base begging for an alternative to their arrogant cable companies. (My opinion)
You are part of the vanishing good guys. Regardless, it seems technology is going to bypass anything requiring a cable to operate.........not suddenly , but that seems to be the trend.
Seen any steam trains lately?
