I started my own contracting company last year and I contract back to Comcast. I worked for Comcast for 19 years, then for a contractor for another 4 before starting my own. So I had a good name for myself and management knew me so it was an easy transition. I would talk to Comcast management and see if they'll take on another contractor, if you have a good name with them already it should be just who you talk to, it seems you have your ducks in a row.
