As of 2005 the Astec Maxi Sneaker Series C brochure had info and pics (well at least a pic) of the unit attached to the Maxi sneaker.....I downloaded the PDF and would post it here for you but unfortunately I am not a computer guru so I am not sure how to do that for you (If you tell me how I can try to upload it here for you....I have it saved in my computer as a PDF file....unfortunately I cannot remember where I downloaded it from).
Anyways, the basic specs for the unit are:
Hydraulic drive, 156 RPM max, Torque 290 lb ft , Drill angle 15 degrees, ...."This fluid assisted directional boring attachment is a surface launched system capable of drilling up to 100' "
Looks like an interesting unit....
