I would question any and all fittings and splicing.  The cable itself would be a whole different story.  It's a really good amp and has decent performance.  I hope you're all digital or some other advantage going for you.  This can be done but you will need to be very picky.  The MDR board will need to be adjusted dead on.  Good Luck!
