Try as you may, you will never get the brainwashed right fringe to stop voting against their own interest, it has little to do with politics, and a lot to do with race. Black man in the White house, though they will never admit this obvious fact, the more they deny it the more ridiculous they look.
Take the same policies and record, give it to a older white man (republican or democrat) and they would have praised it.
The 2008 election brought the reality of racism and hatred the south has to the spotlight, the ignorance, uninformed, and uneducated among the far right fringe is now mainstream in the GOP, before it was just your crazy conspiracy theory uncle, now its 60% of your family. All this started in 2008, strangely, the first non white elected President happened the same year. This is not the case everywhere, mainly in the deep red states...which strangely have a majority of the deep south, which strangely has the highest uneducated, highest welfare, ...well I think we get the point, those of us with the ability to use common sense anyway.
Now, you will notice the following replies of denial: Johnmc3 will come back with several emoticons of monkeys, no one is sure why, maybe its a fetish.
Toast will comeback with several swear words, anger, bitter, because he has no means of intellectual thought process, or if he does, he has yet to show it.
