Country passed around 11:30 am 10-23-2014. He had been treated for cancer several years ago, and it came back. Anyone that has worked in Columbia SC for Twc in the last twenty or so years may have known "Country" . He has worked for many contractors as a warehouseman over the years. We always joked that contractors may come and go but country was here to stay. And as he said it "He was the original black redneck". He was truly a good person that would help you or anyone, anyway he could. Talking to him last week he was asking about using a bucket truck to help someone he knew. He was always happy and smiling. The world was better place with him.
