Don't think you can take it out without removing boom. I know on the skyvans, or versalifts you take the inner boom out. My partner did a versalift this weekend. Its not a bad or terribly hard job on those. On a versalift several people can lift it out, the skyvan was insulated so it was heavy. I used a chain hoist and tied it up to the top of a shop and drove out from under it
Remove bucket and bracket.
Take pics or mark wires,( I never tried but you might could leave switches on wires). Be sure to take 12v lose. Mine had 1 twelve volt wire that all the switches used for power.
