Why should you have to buy new plans? I guess the same reason we have any other law or regulation. If you dont know what Reagancare aka EMTALA is, look it up. Government ie us taxpayers are the ones who ultimately ends up paying the bill for those that are uninsured or under insured. So, IMO, government creating a minimum standard for coverage is more than warranted.

You say all the meetings were held behind closed doors, thats flat out wrong. CSPAN has hundreds if not thousands of hours of debate. All official debate is archived on CSPAN.  The unofficial healthcare summit was also televised, and because the camera were there, it became a dog pony show from both sides.  It was like watching one long campaign ad.  A pure waiste of time. But for you to claim all meetings held on Obamacare were behind closed doors is false. Could there have been more transparency?  Sure. But to say there was none just simply isnt true.

What part of the process did you want to see?  Maybe it was televised and we might be able to find it for you.
