Re: Deficit Cut in Half Under Obama

<sound of Trey banging head on table>......Dude, you really need to stop cut & pasting things you dont understand.

FY 2009 budget was Bush's budget. LOOK IT UP!!!! The 2009 budget was submitted in 2008, BEFORE OBAMA WAS POTUS!!!!!! It was a Continuing Resolution that wasnt fully closed until March 2009 .

You just submitted a post in a different thread that acknowledged Obama was responsible for about $250b of the spending in FY 2009.  The 2009 budget spent $3.1T.

Also the only reason Bush's deficits were as low as they were, is beacause Bush did much of his spending 'off the books'  He funded the wars, FEMA, his Medicare Part D program, etc... with things called supplentals.  SPending through supplementals are not counted toward the deficit, because they're not actually part of the budget.  IF you notice the debt under Bush exploded, but the deficit did not.  Thats because the supplemental spending went straight to the debt. As a campaign promise, BHO vowed to end the practice of off the book spending, and for the most part, he has. HE used a supplental in 2009 to fund the wars, because even though we had a $3.1T budget, that didnt include the cost of the Wars.  BUsh never put the Wars in the budget.

Ill let you in on a little secret.  Have you ever noticed that Hanity, Rush, and the rest only compare Obama's deficits to Bush's deficit.  They never compare the amount of debt that was accumilated under the 2.  Bush's 'off the book' gimmick is why they do this. And people blind to the facts fall right for it. Sure they say the debt has gone up under Obama. But they never compare how much debt Obama accumilated vs Bush

Dont take my word for it.  Look it up for yourself.  Its all public record.  Theres no need for you to count on the lies of these RW bloggers. You can simply look all this up yourself.
