I think the pics might be covered under section of the customer contract about allowing access. In any case that is where a remedy lies. Along with accepting the installation it is not unreasonable to allow picsx of the ground wire & dish location and maybe an address sign that is already intentionally exposed to public view.
That being said.......installation companies have been known to invent reasons for not paying. If they include a pic requirement in their contract with an installer that is the deal. Regardless, every work order that is turned in for payment has the implied statement that all specifications have been met. It is up to the installation company to check specifications......regardless of available pictures.
Finally...........sue 'em if you want. Class action suits are not going to work. Some lawyer will get a big piece of any settlement. It will take forever to go through the courts. You will get a small slice of whatever is left.
If you want to protect your money perform due dillagence upon the company you are working with. Do gather all the information you would need to sue them. If they object to questions like what state their bank is in....be warned. An honest company has all the legal contact information ready to hand out.
