Well,
Back when I was 44...twenty years ago...... I was still climbing around on houses. It is not the heat that gets you. The 28 footers get heavier. Forget about the 40s.


At some point you want to direct the work of new guys. Your experience is worth  money somewhere. Look to do your bosses job for someone else.


The other thing is I was able to do was start early...hide from the mid day heat...and work late.
Avoid roof & attic work. People die from that in the south.
