Religion being man-made of course man believes in his own creation. but when you say I am a believer in Christ Jesus, well then its by faith that you believe and it is by the hearing of the word which in John 1:1 says '..... and the Word was God' you believe into the man Jesus Christ a person. Just my take on it. :)
