I really wonder how any of this is going to work out. Comcast is getting huge, but since there is directv, and dish to compete... They can own the entire land based cable system or close to?
Now Directv is something else. They almost get bought by dish, but couldn't because it would eliminate the competition. Then they get verizion to bid on them. Now ATT is getting to buy them.
What I understand about ATT and Directv is they are both losing in their stock. They are hoping that the 2 of them can merge and be able to combine services. I am just wondering what real difference if any is this going to do for the two companies... They cn always just form a partnership like they always have for years...
Now will they look at directv and ATT areas and decide that since ATT has the market in the same area as Directv that the buyout wont go through?
