April 30, 2014 Ft Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport Florida: Service was lost at 4:00PM when a construction crew cut the main fiber line feeding the airport facilities. Knocked out phone-data-internet-wifi services feeding the airlines, avaiation departments, US Customs, security. Emergency cell Phone calls were made to other airports to handle in coming planes. The airport was put on code Red until they found out what exactly happened.
Can you guess what that bill/invoice will be to the contractor causing the outage.....>WOW $$$$$$
