I work in a soon to be Comcast system.
In your typical mid sized system, lets say 50k subscribers with another two to three 30 - 50k sub systems within 2 hours of each other what type of comcast management structure would be in place.
With Charter the above example would have one Director, 2 managers and each system would have 2-3 install / service supervisors and 1 maintenance supervisor all with 10-15 technicians each.
TWC would be about the same with an additional manager and Sups with 8 - 10 techs and an additional maintenance Sup in the larger systems.
Does Comcast have a more streamlined structure like Charter or is similar to TWC's?
What does the construction department look like? (any in house construction techs?)
I have read that the XOC department is similar to Charters TAC and TWC's TOC, is it centralized or is it spread out?
Both Charter and TWC seem to work their Head end people 50 to 60 hrs a week is Comcast the same way?
Does Comcast have local warehouse staffing or is everything shipped in like Charter and TWC?
What about support people (IT, Safetey etc etc )
