Just wanted to give a update for anyone who was wondering, I made a decision to splice a peice of fiber from one panel to the other on both locations that the panels where only about 10' apart reflections gone huge headache gone.
The problem now is everytime they come to test they shoot the fiber and send me a list of bad splice's, I fix them while the customer is looking at them get his guy to say the shots look good. Then Customer re-shoots that evening or next day and gives me another list, different places. He sends me the shots but this seems to be the "Never Ending Story".
How much can tempeture play into a shot? I am in Oklahoma where today started at 35 F and ended 42 F, but was 80 on Saturday and 72-80 all last week.
What would cause traces to change? Today I worked on 2 traces and did not see a problem where the customer did, but did see a problem in another spot. Useing the same settings, shooting from the same panel?
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated,
Thanks
DanO
