Yeah I paid my taxes this year. Uncle Sam hit me for 2 grand. I cashed in some stock to buy some land up near the Shenandoah River. I want to build my retirement home out there. Thinking of doing one of those underground homes. Make it as self-sufficient as possible. God I starting to sound like a prepper...lol I want to be able to hunt and fish more and right now I live to close to the city. Got a nice 15 acer plot about 150 yards of river front and backed by mountains. I bought 3, 5 acer lots with an option to buy the last 2 within the next 3 years. I hope to do that and put my place right in the middle of it. Kind of get back to my redneck roots.
