Here is a possibility:
IF they were hitting their numbers you would not be offered a deal with them. So they had you assemble a crew and do the screening. Now they do not need you. They may want some of your tech...not you.
Do you currently have receivers with a shelf life....tic, tic, until they have to be installed or returned for an update that will cost you? What will you do with them without work volume?
Do you have an assigned area? Are you in a position to cover one area more than others......see where they send you / route your work.
All this crap will make you hungry; you need to get the men going. Watch for changes in contract details at this point.
