Maybe your never make any real profits in this industry...but the people you build/work for sure making a lot of Green $$$.
John Malone...Goes back to the 60's then head of Jerrold Electronics-TCI,,, he paid his dues in this trade and this was a big year for him.
His Liberty Media just spent $2.6 Billion for 27% of Charter. Then he bought up Virgin Media for $24 Billion, then spent $158 Million fo majority control of Sirius XM, then $808 million for 13% of Ziggo...Now has his eye on TWC. Just how big of a cable plate does Malone want. As you can see..he just wants to be the biggest dog in the pack.
I worked for him back in the mid 60's w/Jerrold, then as a contractor for TCI, He always seemed to be a fair man, very bright...spoke up for the industry when required. Go luck to him with TWC.
But....Keep working out there in the field for your minimal wages, while these fat cats just keep getting Greener $$$$.
