A True Love Story

An 89 year old woman gets arrested shoplifting. The judge asks her "What did you steal?" She replies,  "A can of peaches".

He asks her why she stole them and she says because she was hungry. So he asks her how many peaches were in the can and she tells him six.

He says then I will give you 6 days in jail but before he can actually pass the sentence
on her her husband stands up and asks if he can say something on her behalf.

The judge says, "Yes, what is it?" and the husband replies "She also stole a can of peas"
