Re: Boom working slow

The owners manual from a 1970something vermeer hay baler said that it came with ATF ( I think it also made leaks easier to find) in the lines but it was compatible with any hydraulic fluid that maybe in tractor.  Idk maybe it wasn't enough to matter. Atf does seem to warm up alot faster.
Also what type telsta?  A 34,36,&40 use three phase AC motors.  These work the turn and in and out. The only cylinder is the lift cylinder. It is controled by a motor that operates that cylinder only.  This keeps the unit consistant.
And the smaller 28 works similiar to a versalift using a pump, valves, and hydraulic cylinders. Not too uncommon for the cylinder to need repacking.  Also for the switch or wire to not to be letting the full voltage get through. Or as said earlier that the valve to be bad. I have seen the ground be a problem before.
I would be a simple fix.  Good luck
