I was told that was a good reason to keep the old M90s and that a M68 was really good for these type of situations. But since I have never had to manually splice fiber with the x,y,and z, I wouldn't know how anyway. I have half a dozen old m90s, the new Corning CDS, and a Inno IFS 10. I was told to keep a m90 with me, as some of the fiber made prior to 1986 the new machines will not hardly splice even the corning CDS. I know people that had problems with the Fuji 50 and some of the old AT&T monotube. But I've never had those problems. Does the fiber look different on the screen?
