Most large MSO's have an equivelant benefits package to what you are describing. Comcast does not have a pension plan per say, but offers a stock option plan and 4 weeks vacation after 10 in addition to the same 1 an 5 yr. you mentioned. Never worked for Charter but i'd say they will be very close.
