No it doesnt work that way. Thats why hes the prime and your the sub so you get paid in a reasonable time frame not over 2 months. Hes making money off of you so why should you have to wait till he gets paid from what you invoice.if thats the case then why not be the prime?? If he can't bank roll the project then he shouldn't be the prime.
