The easiest way is find someone who you have that has a millitary ID and let him go and do the installs. If he don't want to install on base, maybe he can get the right info from a CO that might be able to.
I have always just done the vehicle search and paper thing. Rarely did I need
an escort unless I was going into the field away from the houses. Most of the
time if your past that point they need 3 days to process. Makes the day go by
A LOT faster. I have just shown up to base, but if your too early and they can't
get a hold of the sponcer you are stuck there until they get that apporval.
