There is no way in heaven or in hell that any one contractor could ever beat AT&T at this backwards bidding war that's going on. This is THE corporation boys and girls, a juggernaut of lawers, seasoned tough by chewing the legs of the US government. They have also been going head to head with one of the toughest unions in the country for the past sixty years, so they know all about negotiating with "the blue collar". Lead them into the desert, wait long enough and the people will start to drink the sand. A flotsom collection of out of work "cable guys" isn't even enough for these guys to turn their heads. Forget it, there's gonna be work, but the "good days" where a high school drop out could make a hundred grand and put half up his nose while still paying the bills are GONE.
