Could it be that they just couldn't accept one of their own killed JFK so they made the whole thing into something it wasn't by starting all the rumors?
There were a lot of upset Americans after JFK was killed, who to say Jack Ruby wasn't one of them, with nothing to lose who saw a chance to get into the history books.
Just as strong a theory as the mob, Hoover, Johnson, Cubans, or anything else thought on the matter.
But as I said before what the hell do I know.
