Not trying to get into this "RACIST" conversation but, DFWDTV, you bring it out in me.
I'm not the racist type and have never been. yes I am white, and yes I am a Tea Party person; but here is where you get things confussed, probably due to your liberal ideas. I am white, but I am married to a minority, yes I am a christian and I go to church, but a lot of my friends at church are minorities and 2/3 of my church is minorities.
I have come to the conclusion that you cannot understand the Tea Party's thinking because you will not look into them enough to get the understanding on our governement, the constitution and what our country is and was formed under. I am sure you will come up with some lame exsuss or leftist retoric to dispute all said, but I challange you to look into the constitution and what this country was formed as.
We spend way to much on programs that do nothing but hold people down, I can't remember who said it, but one of our founding fathers made a statement that if you pay people not to work, they won't. That is proven every day on some of the people on unemployment. Why do we need a Department of Education? When Carter formed it, the education of this country went down hill, and we have not stopped going down since then; Why do we need a Department of Commerce? They have 16 departments that could be downsized and some deleted to 6 sub departments; and I could go on with other agencies.
The Tea Party just want's us to go back to a SMALLER government and let the states handle their business, thus saving BILLIONS of taxpayer money.
Learn about the Tea Party before you critize them and understand that the "Tea Party" is not about being racist it is about saving this country.
