Sadly enough, only Fox News and Right Wing talk show host are the only ones that even mention them. Right wing Leaning polls.
That being said, they 'average' tea party member is probably fine. Its the radicals in the party that cause the problems, the 'birthers' and conspiracy theorist, the Ted Cruz type, that could care less about the country, and only care about themselves.
Now that Ted Cruz is out of the picture, looks like Rand Paul is getting slammed pretty hard for plagiarism. Its bad enough to copy your speech off the internet, but to do it from Wikipedia? Thats a new low.
