Just heard a bus load of WWII Vets in DC to see the WWII Memorial found it barricaded. A Park Police officer came over and told them it was closed because of the government shut down. The vets told the cop "Hell we stormed the beaches at Normandy and countless Pacific islands, and we'll be damned if a barricade is going to keep us from seeing our memorial!" With that a bunch of vets moved a section of the barricade and they stormed the memorial. That's exactly why in my book they are Americas greatest generation.
