Organized religion is used by those in power to keep power, and control the masses.

Christianity is just a cult that succeeded, if it were to start in this day and age, it would be laughed at just like Scientology.

People used religion to give meaning to things they could not understand, but since now science has now become accepted and understood, it is no longer needed.

No person is born religious, it is taught to them, if we could break that cycle, and teach science as an understanding instead, the world would be a better place.  Christianity is a lie, just like most major religions of the world, they all teach war and hate, treat women as property, glorify slavery, among other things.  Thou shalt not kill in once sentence, then wage war and death in another.  Do not rape in once sentence, but feel free to take all the pure women after you destroy a city in the next as your slave.  Human sacrifice your son, oh wait, nevermind, I was just testing you....Does that sound like something you want to follow?
