What is there to defend? After 11 months, nothing has changed, The President nor Clinton pulled the trigger and killed anyone, it was an attack on an Consulate in a unstable region of the world. Let me add that during the 8 years Bush was in office there were many many attacks on Embassies and Consulates, I don't see anyone pushing for those to be investigated, and many many more than 4 people died during those attacks.
Get your perspectives straight. If you are going to try to persecute the current administration, you need to go back and do the same for the previous, or everyone will just think your party is out for this President, because of his race.
