AM Communications: started Early 70's, Mac Quarshi-John Richardson- Bill Ross all x Jerrold Electronics Guys. Back when Jerrold decided to stop using their own crews and go to all sub contractors. Jerrold Electronics construction co was QC Construction. AM started with Bill Ross splicing A Jerrold project in New Martinsburg, Ind. They grew the company to be one of the largest in USA. They got caught up in the Mid 80 slow down and closed doors. Last I seen Mac was Louisville, Ky mid 90's. OSP Contractors today would only make good grunts for the construction companies back then, I know becuase I was one- Micro Constructors Inc [75-85]- pulling-lashing-splicing-testing 13 cable runs.
Those were the days of "Real" linemen..no buckets, no fancy tools- no hard hat - just flat beds, brace/bit, up and down all day long. Great Days that will never return.
