Nowhere in the Constitution does it promise freedom from religion. It promises Freedom Of Religion.
Question; If as the Declaration of Independence states: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. But you do not believe in a Creator, are you still endowed with the same unalienable Rights? If so why?
I'm not saying you are not endowed with these rights but it does pose an interesting question.
