If your working for a company...they should not be charging you "Anything".  If your a Sub Contractor, you should have your own insurance.  One good thing about them charging is that if you have a accident...they will go after the big dog, the one who holds the contract.  

If self employed you are not required to carry W/comp on yourself.  If you tell any insurance company that you climb poles, work around power...your rates will be out of site, alot more than those stating on here.  Installer rates are lower than line construction rates.

I work as consultant....rates are dirt cheap!..............Good luck, Be Safe....don't work w/out some type of insurance coverage on you and your vehicle/tools/equipment.
