The employer mandate of obamacare has changed the rules for being considered an independent contractor. Most of you will soon be considered "Common Law Employees" by the IRS. Major companies are now trying to adapt to the new law, they have no choice. It is starting to look like you will be considered a contractor ONLY if you belong to a contractors union. Soon 1099 subs will be a thing of the past. Welcome to the change.   Did you not see this coming?
