My statement is isn't directed to anyone specific and sounds like you are a honorable guy. But to anyone it applies too, hey if the shoe fits wear it. You are right about being prepared to be let down if its not in writing. But sometimes everything can't be covered in writing. If any party makes a agreement they should honor what they say. And you are right again about it being a business. That too is something everyone should remember too. It is just that, a business. But any one that doesn't do what they say isn't worth a small box (you know one those ones that used to be 2/1.00) of salt in my opinion. But communication is important between involved parties. Alot of times it will be the difference between a continuing relationship or not.All in all I have lost very little money in twenty years, and only a few thousand dollars was because the people were all out crooks. So life has been good
