   You can use a 60s to splice connectors. If you are using the AFL  brand both chucks need to be taken out, Sumitomos you only need to take out one. At first with the AFL we felt they did not work, but after a few experiments, discovered it was our error. The 50s you are not able to do this with, but you can use a 50r. Recommend the 60s for obvious reasons though.
