Sal Yorks passed away on June 9, 2013 in Virginia Beach. Sal was a well known and respected engineer with Magnavox CATV and Philips Broadband Networks back in the 1970's-1990's era who worked all over the world supporting their product lines. I also had the pleasure of working with him on various field engineering trips back in those days. Sal contributed to MANY of todays technological advances in the industry and was an expert in the early days of fiber optic technology and status monitoring. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him from all over the world.
