Last time I heard he was working out of the Binghamton NY TWC office, the reason they call him Spike is that he was sent to do an install and all he had was a brace and bit to drill the holes then the brace broke so he finished the job with a hammer and bit LOL, if you know Spike, to him that would be no big deal.
