It is not recommended Don't Do it, it will cost you more time than anything. I stay away from outside walls, for the simple fact that its hard to put a drill in there to drill your hole. I have done them but with a magnupull and I charged close to $200.00. You will have to cut a hole on each floor and most customers want to re-sheet rock the hole, I tell the customer I do not sheet rock it, I place a blank wall plate. Then when you finally get to the basement hopefully the cable comes done the same side as your switch or ground block. Too much work
