Most of what you just said is probably true, and I agree with a good deal of it. My reason for posting that was geared toward the more ignorance of the far reaches on both the left and the right.
As for the right to bear arms, here is an argument for you: The Right to bear arms for a regulated militia, in order to overthrow a tyrannical government....thats all fine and dandy, but if thats the reason, to over throw a tyrannical government, why do we spend billions on defense, the army/air force/navy/marines, are all controlled by the federal government, which, in some imaginary world, was ran by a tyrant, would just use that well funded armed forces to put down any militia that is using 45MM hand guns and 22LR rifles...so the Far right wants to arm itself with small munitions, to overthrow a government, that has the highest defense/armed services budget in the world, that is given it to by the same far right that wants to overthrow it...see the irony in that? ( I actually happen to own several fire arms, but they are for personal protection, not to 'overthrow the governent')
Endowed by its creator, again, I have no issues with that line, I only have issues with evangelicals preaching and trying to force everyone to become Christians, since you know the constitution so well, you will agree, that Christianity is mentioned no where in the entire document, correct?
I also agree with what you say about income taxes, for some reason I remember hearing or reading something that taxes, in a sense, are unconstitutional. The current tax system is f'd up, need a flat % tax IMO, but that will probably never happen.
More to say, but dinner is ready.
