Well... maybe because my Mick friends told it to me and I being Irish passed it on to here that way. You tell the joke and subtitute Poles, Jews, Catholic preists and Rabbis for all I care. They are Irish in this case cause its an Irish joke and were stingy wit r bleddin hammers......
