I always thought that a sales position with an installation capability would be a win-win. The salesman gets a commission, turns his hat around and gets paid for an installation.
Then I knew a guy who reported door tagging two hours each morning then door knocking only where the tags were gone, doing five to ten sales a day with about five hours EZ work.
For sure, as Sat. internet, Fiber, Catv & Fios-like phone service improves, along with wi-fi there is going to be some competition in the future that will both dilute the customer pool and change the pricing structure.
South Boston......unknown to me.
