They do this to keep away from the epa rules and regs on hazardous
materials it's cheaper on them so they figure it in on the replacement cost
of removing the old batteries and installing the new so they really aren't
giving them away, the savage price is part of the contract price, just
like when you wreck out old or damaged cable it's figured into the wreckout
price.
