customer pc causing codeword problems in node


This has been tracked by Network Maintenance to a house.  They can not see any problem in PathTrak, or by any tool on DSAM meter and neither can I.  Only way it can be seen is in DOCSIS or NYROC with live polling of specfic upstream.  So far, I can disconnect one pc and it goes away, but it only shows up from, lets say, 10am till 3pm.  Has anyone seen this?  Can this be fixed by reinstalling windows?  Is it maleware or a program?  We have replaced the router and ethernet cable, codeword errors drop by pulling the ethernet connection to one pc, and the last thing we want to do is shut their service down or tell them to buy a new pc.
