We run 860 Gainmaker and I have seen this when the Manual Backoff and the AGC are not set correctly. When the amp's are set up the Manual Backoff is usually turned all the way up and then turned down 3 db, which throws the AGC off. The Manual Backoff is supposed to be set up at pilot carrier and backed off by the ambient temperature chart. There is a temp chart in the manual, I keep a smaller version of it in the front of my meter that has been reduced to correspond with the range of temperatures we deal with here. PM me your email address and I will send you a copy, if you work for who I think you do, the chart I have made up will work for you.
