I am still trying to patch together a basic digital video delivery system using old Scientific Atlanta D9477 boxes. These are nice units, but configuring them from the front panel is limited. I am looking for some expertise from someone that has used or configured these units with a DNCS. I cannot locate any DNCS units for sale.
At a minimum it would be great to have an mqam.config file to review and possibly be able to craft manual configs for our small system. It is my understanding with version 2.3.7 or later these units are capable of DVB Common scrambling which would allow us to deploy set tops.
Is there anyone out there that knows or has access to this stuff? I need what is in the tftpboot directory of one to understand how these work.
