He'd be better off trying to get an apprenticeship with Power/telephone. This business sucks, as you would know. I would never advise any of my family to enter this trade unless they go in house..get some long term benefits and wouldn't have to work their ass off just to make a some what living. Anyway...he's in it so I wish him all the best, just do your work task right the first time...no short cuts and treat your fellow workers the same way you would want to be treated....with respect.
